Two Professional Notebooks - HP ProBook And Hp EliteBook - Launched! -Comparison

Hello all, the other day Hewlett Packard (HP) has successfully launched two new Professional notebooks, they are the HP Probook and the HP Elitebook. (Professional notebooks in the sense, made for hardcore users.)

The new notebooks are named HP Elitebook Revolve 810 and HP ProBook 430 G1 and are now officially launched in India. Focused on Professional Users, both the laptops are powered by Windows 8. The laptops look cool and are also given a cool and professional look. So, lets have a look into each of these laptops.

HP EliteBook Revolve 810



Released along with HP ProBook, the EliteBook Revolve 810 looks kinda interesting. It is way more sleeker than the ProBook and is much more portable. This laptop has got a 11.6 inches touchscreen display with a touchscreen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The screen resolution however feels very low for the price at which it has been tagged but for a 11.6 inches screen, it might not deliver sadness to the user. This Notebook is actually a Convertible and its screen can be detached from the keyboard or simply lay flat on the keyboard turning the Windows 8 Notebook into a powerful Windows 8 tablet.

The HP EliteBook Revolve 810 has got a premium finish. Uses the tough Gorilla Glass protection on the screen and also the body is made tough by using some new type of Magnesium Alloy as the material for the body. Above all, it weighs just 1.36 Kilo Grams.

Unlike the expensive professional and premium EliteBook, the HP Probook is a mid-ranged Mainstream Laptop. Running on Windows 8, the screen resolution of the HP ProBook 430 G1 is also similar to the Elitebook that is, the HP Probook 430 G1 has got a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. With this resolution, the screen size of the HP ProBook 430 G1 is a bit bigger than the EliteBook which is of 13.3 inches.

It is said that the HP ProBook 430 G1 laptop will be powered by a 4th gen Core I processors. According to the information provided, users will be having a choice to choose between Core i3, Core i5 and also the Core i7 processors. Not only this, the users will be getting an option ot choose between a Solid State Drive and a Hard disk along with an option to expand the Random Access Memory (RAM) up to 16GB. Whoa! That's a whole lot of customization.

With all this, the HP ProBook 430 G1 weighs just 1.5 Kilo Grams and delivers uncompromising speed.
